Here’s What You Can Expect From Me

I love the feeling of getting clear on things.

Don't you?

Many of you are new to my community, so I want to take a few moments today to let you know what you can expect of me.

I believe in starting relationships with trust, and I aim to take consistent action that reinforces the trust between you and me.

My goal is to help us become better acquainted right now so you feel my inbox is a safe place for you to reply to and visit.

I like to email you Monday through Friday, sending coaching exercises, theories to consider, challenging perspectives, ideas, powerful questions, personal stories, and practical solutions.

Lately, you've seen a lot of emails about my podcast launch. That approach will calm down and shift next week to simply adding a link to access the latest episode.

A little about me: I'm an Indiana girl who's moved 19 times in the last 23 years. I love to travel (scroll down to see me celebrating my birthday with beautiful Maasai women in Tanzania a few months back) and drink coffee (my current fave) and laugh until my stomach hurts.

I live in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. I work on Dana Byers Coaching Monday through Thursday, and a passion project of mine is the small charitable foundation my husband and I started in 2018. I like to read about the issues we contribute towards, meet with local and international partners, offer them coaching, and pray for and with these organizations.

I started Dana Byers Coaching a little over 2 years ago, and it's been a lovely and stretching journey. Sometimes it's a little lonely running my own business, though, so I invest a lot of time serving and leading in local activities like this to stay engaged.

Because I run this joint, I am shaping my business to function in a way that's sustainable to me. So you won't see a lot of me on social media. The meat and potatoes of Dana Byers Coaching occurs on my podcast and in these emails. I also have resources and 1:1 coaching sessions available on my website.

(This year I have an on-demand video course launching so stay tuned for that!)

20% of your purchases from DBC are given away: 10% to my church and 10% to an organization empowering women.

My combined work experience ranges from non-profit leadership to executive pastor to missionary to proud mom of two young adult kids. I am also Chris' biggest fan and best friend since 1997.

My hope is that you'd stick around and mount up the courage to email me sometime. Send me your questions, prayer needs, or ideas. And please, please email me if you're ever in OKC so we can go out for coffee!

My prayer is that God would use my written or spoken words to support and encourage you on your transformation journey at work and home.
