You’re About to Inspire Yourself
Have you ever considered your own capacity to inspire yourself?
It's true that inspiration can be hard to come by at times, but often we just sit around and wait for it.
...And then we sit around and wait even longer for inspiration to strike.
Today I want you to take a couple moments out to inspire yourself.
Here's how to do it.
1) Recognize that we can be inspired by both negative events and positive events.
2) Think of a personal example of each type in your life: negative and positive.
Here are a couple of examples to get your thoughts flowing:
One client told me that her husband quit smoking last year. That's positive inspiration happening in her personal life!
A friend shared a couple of weeks back that her mom got a scary diagnosis due in part to a choice to ignore increasing health issues. That's an example of negative inspiration.
My friend said she's already thinking of lifestyle changes she can make now. Her mom's diagnosis inspired her to take action!
Look at your life for a moment.
There's inspiration all around you!
Bonus: Take a moment to reach out to celebrate and appreciate the person in your life who has positively inspired you.
